How do they do that?
Zappos.com is my hero. They have become my second favorite shopping joint (next to BR of course!) but they really have outdone themselves this time. They tout themselves as a service company that just happens to sell stuff on the internet, and boy, are they right. They have this overnight shipping thing that puts every other online vendor to shame. I order things from them even if they are not the cheapest price because I know I’ll receive it next business day. They also have a FABULOUS selection of everything (esp my favorite categories, shoes and bags) which now sends Nordstrom’s shoe dept to shame.
Recently I purchased a pair of running shoes after I killed my last pair in the Austin Half. I ordered it Mon night at 6:30 PM PST knowing that it wouldn’t ship til Tues, and thinking maybe I would receive them on Wed. NO. Last night, “knock knock”, came and went our UPS man (who doorbell ditches us, btw) and there was a box from Zappos.com!
“No, it can’t be!” I exclaimed!
But yes it was. My new pair of running shoes, at my doorstep in less than 24 hrs.
How do they do that?!
