This has been one of the most relaxing weekends I’ve had in quite some time.  It’s strange to think that of course, since I’m not technically at “home”, but in many ways, it feels like Home. 

I’ve been running around the last few weekends like crazy, non-stop (of all fun activities, mind you), but they all take a toll.  I am not able to stay up very late (I can’t seem to stay up past 9 most evenings) and find that my body aches in places it didn’t a few years ago (wait, perhaps that’s age, not the running around I’ve been doing). 

I’m surrounded by my bestest of friends, eating my favorite foods.  I stood yesterday, alone (which was unthinkable not too long ago), overlooking my old commute and one of my favorite things in the whole wide world thinking how good life is.  Not too long ago was a time when I used to feel anxious, nervous, unsure.  Of course, I still go through bouts of this (as T can attest to),  however now, there is a calming feeling from within that overrides and a confidence that is balanced with question and wonder.  I’m in a good place right now.
