So its been rough since returning to LA. I had one whole day of orientation, welcoming 180 fresh new faces to Bschool. I’ve been busy organizing for next week’s activities as well, being class VP. Then it gets tougher.
Tuesday we went to Sasabune, one of my favorite sushi places. I seemed to lack having good sushi up north as I swore I had never tasted anything so damn good before. The omakase seemed better than usual. My good friend Jane made us double choco chip Kalhua cake. Amazing.
Wednesday I went to Bob’s to get my badly needed haircut. He took about 2.5 inches off, releasing about 2 pounds of weight off of my shoulders. Capped it off with dinner at my favorite Pakistani place. “You’re back!” It’s so nice for them to remember…
Today, I went to Burke Williams with my GC’s - and spent a good few hours there. I started off with a nice shower, some time in the steam room with ice cold lavendar scented towels, a nap in their quiet room, 25 minutes in a mud bath, some waxing, then an hour of the most amazing facial ever. I then picked up the most amazing powder ever, an all organic, 30 spf thing that comes in its own brush, that makes my face glow. It’s all natural and smells like honey and has significantly brightened up my face compared to my usual Shiseido powder I’ve worn for the last…. how ever many years.
Tomorrow, we head off to Santa Barbara Wine Country for the weekend.
Told you, life has been rough. School starts next Wed.
