Rebecca 29 Eyelet Wrap

Filed under: Knitz and Crafts — Shiz @ 7:18 am

I remember starting this wrap back on the 4th of July when I had to rush my good friend to the ER after she sliced her hand open. I actually finished this sometime in September, but never had an opportunity to post.

Pattern: Eyelet Wrap from Rebecca 29
Yarn: GGH Soft Kid in Lime 54 (the real color is more like the photo on the left)
Revisions to the pattern: Made a longer torso section (and it’s still a little too short)

The pattern itself took me a little bit to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, you can easily tell when and where to throw down on some yarn overs.

I need some suggestions - I have 10 skeins of GGH Esprit in White 06 leftover (yes, leftover) from another project which turned into something that makes me look like the abominable snowman. Any ideas for projects?

    Hi!
This is Ralph Goldstein’s wife (yes, your jewellery instructor.) My daughter found your site, looked at this sweater and loved it. I have a couple of questions for you. Now that you’ve had a chance to wear it, how’s the shedding part? Would you make it again with the same yarn? some other websites comment it’s hard to work with. Second of all, I really don’t want to buy a whole magazine for just one set of instructions– any way we can arrange for a copy of just those instructions? I’d like to knit it for her (she’s not a knitter.)
Regards from Ralph and apologies for the name mispronunciation; he’s not the best at language; I’m the linguist in the family.
