Good Times
Can I just share with you all that I’m having fun!? When was the last time I said this, for a few days straight when not on vacation? It is so nice to actually sign for a UPS package AT HOME, go running on a weekday morning, go to Target when it’s not packed, participate in discussion not lecture, and continue making new friends.
I just finished my first week of classes and although I have more work than imagineable, I’m having a fabulous time doing it on my own schedule instead of a fixed 8-5. My new carpool buddy is also going to teach me how to boogie board (we can pull over on the side of the freeway like they do in Hawaii)!!
Oh, tomorrow’s Friday, a day off!

Sounds like you are already enjoying student life. Now you see what I’ve been at it so long. But $400 for books is a killer, isn’t it. And Fridays . . . its an absolute sin to every have any class or work on Friday. 1st law of the graduate code.
I come home in 3 weeks.
